GM 5953168 is the factory headlight beam adjusting spring used on a wide range of GM vehicles from the mid‑1960s through the early 1980s. It mounts the headlamp retaining ring to the headlight bucket and allows proper aiming of the sealed‑beam headlight.

This is one of GM’s most widely used headlamp adjuster springs.
